Abounding Prosperity, Inc. believes that preventative services are of utmost importance to prevent disease and improve health and the quality of life. Given this, the organization offers an array of program and services targeted to Black gay and bisexual men who have sex with men (BMSM) and male to female Transgender individuals, ages 17 and older. HIV Prevention Education & Outreach - AP Inc currently has a weekly discussion group for Black MSM. This group meets weekly discussing various topics such as: maintaining healthy relationships, HIV/STI education topics, financial literacy, and other engaging topics.

Comprehensive Risk Counseling and Services with Choosing Life: Empowerment, Action, Results (CLEAR) provides intensive, client-centered risk reduction counseling to persons for whom risk reduction is difficult to achieve or maintain but who also are willing to work on these issues. Our clients may not benefit from less intensive risk reduction interventions until after psychosocial needs (e.g., mental health, substance abuse, or housing) that interfere with risk reduction are addressed.

Many Men, Many Voices (3MV) is a seven-session, group-level HIV and STD prevention intervention that we offer for Black men having sex with men or gay men of color. The intervention addresses factors that influence the behavior of men having sex with men or gay men of color (Black and Latino), including cultural, social, and religious norms; interactions between HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases; sexual relationship dynamics; and the social and psychological influences that racism and homophobia have on HIV risk behaviors

Let’s Talk About (Safer) Sex” is a compilation of several, different elements from “Many Men, Many Voices” (3MV)—including HIV 101 and “Sex in the City”—which are all part of the CDC’s Diffusion of Evidence Based Interventions (DEBIs). “Let’s Talk About (Safer) Sex” targets Black Men who have sex with men (BMSM) and Black Transgender (BTG)/male-to-female (MTF) individuals of all ages.

Substance Abuse - AP Inc hosts weekly Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings for men who are recovering from alcohol and substance addictions.

Temporary Housing - AP Inc currently operates a congregate housing residential property (The Prosperity House), located in the Southern sector of Dallas County that provides opportunities for transitional housing for MSM and others in need of housing.

HIV Counseling and Testing & Sexually Transmitted Infection Services with Personalized Cognitive Councelinsg - Since 2006, AP Inc. has provided HIV counseling, testing, and referral services to all of its clients and partners in addition to syphilis testing.

Dallas Southern Pride - AP Inc. assists with the coordination of Dallas Southern Pride, also known as Dallas’ Black Gay Pride, which convenes every year in October and is attended by over 20,000 BMSM from Dallas, the state of Texas and beyond. During this celebratory weekend, AP Inc offers HIV CTR services, HIV/STI prevention education, health education and social opportunities as well for its participants.
